Suresh G. Kamath, M.D. is a Board Certified Physician and Surgeon. Dr. Kamath specializes in the medical and surgical care of the eye (Ophthalmology), eyelids and skin (Eye or Oculoplastic Surgery).

Dr. Kamath is a native of Upstate New York - raised in Utica. He graduated with high honors from the University of Pennsylvania where he received degrees in Biochemistry and South Asian Studies and a Minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Kamath received his M.D. with distinction from Albany Medical College.
Dr. Kamath completed his Internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Ophthalmology from Albany Medical College. He received extensive training in medical and surgical care of the eye, laser surgery of the eye (for Diabetes and other Retinal Diseases, Glaucoma, and Laser Vision Correction), conventional and laser surgery of the eyelid (Eye or Oculoplastic Surgery), and BOTOX® treament for eyelid movement disorders.
Dr. Kamath completed an additional postgraduate course in Ophthalmology: The Lancaster Course through the affiliation of Colby College and Harvard Medical College/Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Through the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, he received specialized training in laser surgery of the eyelids, face and skin for wrinkles, bags, unwanted hair, veins, and other skin problems as well as further training in the use of BOTOX® for cosmetic applications.
Dr. Kamath received a high passing score in his Board Certification Examination scoring in the 99th percentile in the Plastic Surgery and Orbital Disease section.
Dr. Kamath practices Comprehensive Ophthalmology, Eye Plastic Surgery, Minor Skin Procedures, and BOTOX® for upper facial muscle movement disorders and cosmetic BOTOX® injections for upper facial furrows, wrinkles and lines. Dr. Kamath performs office and hospital based surgery.
